SurvCon 2025 will not be digital this year. There are three ways to register for SurvCon 2025: Online at www.njspls.org; By Email - Complete, scan and email your registration form to dalexander@njspls.org or kchilleri@njspls.org; and By Mail - Return the completed registration form with your credit card information or check made payable to NJSPLS and mail it to: NJSPLS, 212 West State Street, Trenton, NJ 08608. Early Bird discount of $25 will be in effect for registrations received by January 3, 2025. Regular rates will be in effect beginning January 4, 2025. Harrah’s Atlantic City is the host hotel for SurvCon 2025. The NJSPLS room rate is just $65.00 per room (plus taxes) in the Bayview Tower. You can call Harrah’s between 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. EST any day of the week for room reservations, or you can reserve online at https://book.passkey.com/go/SHSUR5. The Group Name is SurvCon 2025 and the Group Code is SHSUR5. The Deadline for reservations at the $65.00 rate is January 16, 2025. CST Testing for Levels 1, 2 and 3 will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. If you plan on sitting for this examination, the registration is a TWO-STEP process. You must complete BOTH the NSPS application and NJSPLS registration requirements. STEP 1. REGISTER WITH NSPS: To apply online for the Exam go to www.cstnsps.com and click on “Exam and Retake Fees” and then click “Apply Online” to complete the application. Choose the group rate of $120.00 per person – this is your NSPS fee for the exam. STEP 2. REGISTER WITH NJSPLS: Complete your one-day registration for SurvCon 2025 with NJSPLS which includes admission to a morning course, lunch and breaks. See Course (30) for additional information. Certificates of Completion will not be distributed after each class but will be emailed post-conference. Certificates and transcripts are always available in your member portal on our website – www.njspls.org. For our members and colleagues licensed as engineers in New Jersey, many of the course offerings have been designed to fulfill your PE continuing education requirements. Engineers should look for [PE] for qualifying courses. NJSPLS is an approved provider of continuing education for New York and Pennsylvania. Look for [NY] or [PA] for qualifying courses. Digital Handouts – Any workshop handouts provided by Speakers/Presenters will be posted online at www.njspls.org prior to the conference. All continental breakfasts, lunches and breaks are included in your registration fee. Every other year a refresher course is required to maintain certification as a Certified Floodplain Surveyor. Course 28 (Continuing Education FEMA Region II) satisfies that requirement.
